Welcome to LeRoy, Mi-49655. On Feb. 2, 1873, the village of LeRoy was incorporated by an act of the state Legislature. The first officers of the newly incorporated village were President James E. Bevins; Clerk L.D. Dill; treasurer G.W. Kellogg; trustees G.W. Averill, H.M. Patrick and Anthony Wenzel; street commissioners James Corbin E. M. Braden, Godfrey Gundrum and George Merill; assessor Walter Evans; constable M. W. Westfall; and Marshall John Glerum. The village was platted by James E. Bevins on Dec. 30, 1873. This plat was made up of 40 acres. This date coincides with Groundhog Day.

Leroy's diverse businesses range from local restaurants and bars, shopping markets and party stores. Many people don't know that LeRoy is home to strong construction, logging, dairy and manufacturing businesses that provide services and produce goods throughout the entire United States.

LeRoy is truly a four-season Michigan vacationland. Local and tourist alike enjoy it's rolling hills, picturesque lakes, and acres of almost virgin forests. Our communiity is made up of hardworking, dependable and friendly people that own and operate our businesses, churches, fire department and rescue squad. With the White-pine trail running through the center of town, LeRoy makes a great starting point for Bicyclist, snowmobile's, hikers, cross-country skiers and horseback riders. LeRoy makes a great halfway point for bicycling tours. We are a open community of homes and businesses for your 15 minute break, or overnight rest.
